Hey farm supporters! Here’s what’s happening this month at the farm

We’ve got exciting workshops, fresh faces, and some serious beekeeping ahead as swarm season has started with this Spring nectar flows and the first NUCs of the season will be picked up at the end of this month (if you pre-ordered, schedule below in the NUC pickup section). We’ve got something for everyone at the farm this month!

Beekeeper Mentoring Program

Our new cohorts for Beekeeper Mentoring are starting this month…

Year 1

4/4 + 4/18 => 11am-1pm

Year 2+

4/4 + 4/18 => 9-11am

If you have taken bee 101 with us in the past and want to join this year’s cohorts, simply reply to this eMail and we will get you set up!

Bee101 is a pre-requisite to participate in Year 1.

Year 2+ is full for 2026-2027.

Bee101 | Become a Beekeeper

This 2-day beginner beekeeping course in Cape Coral, Florida teaches you how to start, manage, and inspect honey bee colonies β€” with real, hands-on hive experience.

Participants will suit up and work inside active bee hive under the guidance of a University of Florida Advanced Master Beekeeper.

This is not just a classroom lecture.Β  You will handle & build equipment, inspect a colony, and learn exactly what to look for inside a hive.
